The TCS Amsterdam Marathon, which holds the World Athletics Platinum Label, has had for years one of the fastest courses in the world. In the ranking of fastest marathon cities, the largest marathon in the Netherlands ranks sixth.Â
Highlights of the course include the start and finish in the Olympic Stadium, the passage under the Rijksmuseum and past the Heineken Experience, the kilometers along the Amstel River and the lap through the Vondelpark.
